APT designs, customises and manufactures high-performance non-lethal and less-than-lethal pyrotechnics and low-velocity ammunition solutions for armed forces, security forces and law enforcement. With one of the world’s most advanced pyrotechnics manufacturing facilities, we produce high-quality smoke grenades and low-velocity projectiles for signalling, masking, training and crowd control - consistently delivering the precise performance vital to mission success.
APT also manufactures shotgun shells for the non-NATO markets, sporting and hunting.
Reflecting the quality of our products, the safety of our operations and the sophistication of our facilities, we have adopted military standards and German-technology specifications in accordance with EU-REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations. APT is also registered with the NATO Codification Bureau and complies with international standards of safety and performance. Mohamad Salem Al Falasi
General Manager, Advance Pyrotechnic LLC
Mohamad Al Falasi is the General Manager (GM) at Advance Pyrotechnic (APT).
In his role, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership for APT by working with the Managing Director and other members of the Executive Management Team to establish, implement and oversee the long-term goals, strategies, plans and policies of the company. As the GM, Mohamed obtains financial and operational responsibility for the success of APT, along with the duty of ensuring continual improvements to increase the global market share for APT as a joint venture.
Mohamad Al Falasi has over two decades of experience in the fields of business management, specialisation in arms, ammunition manufacturing, project management, training, and R&D. He has held several senior positions throughout his career and has been successfully building working teams and establishing systems.
Prior to joining Advance Pyrotechnic, Mohamad was the Head of the Licensing Division at the Ministry of Defence. He has also served as the Chief Executive Officer at CARACAL Light Ammunitions LLC and undertook the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Burkan Munition System LLC.
Mohamad Al Falasi has received several awards and recognitions, most notably the Medal of Silver Jubilee of the Unification of the Armed Forces. He has also received two Good Service Medals and an Excellent Long Service Medal.
Mohamad Al Falasi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Military Technical College, Egypt.
